Operating since July 2016, The Epworth Wellness Centre is a private outpatient clinic providing holistic treatment for patients, employing the skills of Epworth allied health clinicians in:

• physiotherapy,
• hand therapy, and
• speech pathology.

The centre aims to offer rapid access to therapy providing patients with excellent quality of care and clinical outcomes.

Epworth Wellness Centre differs from our extensive range of multidisciplinary outpatient programs, in that the patients:

• can access the service with care provided by primary allied health clinicians can use their extras cover or self fund their treatment
• do not require a referral to access the service

Available Services

At Epworth Hawthorn:

• physiotherapy – for musculoskeletal injuries including neck and back pain, soft tissue complaints (sprains and strains), sports injuries and following orthopaedic surgery
• hand therapy – following hand injury and or surgery
• temporomandibular (TMJ) or jaw and facial pain treatment
• management of olfactory (smell) impairment

At Epworth Richmond:

• communication assessment and therapy
• voice therapy (including accent modification)
• swallowing assessment and therapy (including videofluoroscopy)
